Four clients in an innovative program based out of a Philadelphia emergency department struggle to overcome crippling symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder and escape the violence, poverty and hopelessness that have defined their lives. As young black males living in impoverished neighborhoods awash with guns, the odds are stacked against them.
